What do you do when one Scripture seems to contradict another? For example, Jesus said, “If you want to be forgiven, you must forgive others” (Matthew 6:14). Colossians 2:13 states, “And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having FORGIVEN YOU ALL TRESPASSES.” Wait a minute! Jesus said you must forgive to be forgiven. Paul said that you’ve already been forgiven. Paul also said in Eph. 4:32, “… forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
